TapRest Privacy Policy

Postsun Co., Ltd. (the "Company") complies with this Privacy Policy to ensure the safe protection of personal information when using the TapRest app (the "App").
1. Scope of Application
This policy applies to the mobile app "TapRest" (Android) provided through the Google Play Store. By installing and using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information Collected by the App
TapRest is a simple timer app that does not require registration or login.

We do not collect personally identifiable information such as name, email, phone number, or account information.
- Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted or shared with the Company's servers or any third parties.
- Timer state (workout/rest intervals, remaining time, etc.)
- Rest end time (for alarm scheduling)
- Alarm sound, vibration settings, alarm preset
- Set count and other app settings
This local data is deleted when you uninstall the App.
2.2 Information That May Be Collected Through Third-Party Services (Google Ads)
The App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). For ad delivery, Google may collect and process the following types of information:
- Device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID)
- IP address, device information, app usage information
- Other data specified in Google's Privacy Policy and Advertising Policy

3. Purpose of Information Use
- Locally Stored Data
Used solely for providing app features such as timer operation, alarm scheduling, and settings persistence. No server transmission or external sharing.
- Advertising-Related Data
Google uses it for purposes such as personalized advertising, ad measurement, and fraud prevention. Usage follows Google's policies.
4. Notifications (Push) Feature
The App uses local notifications only. Notifications are scheduled on your device to alert you when rest time ends, and no data is sent to any push server. Notification permission is optional, and you can use core features such as the timer even if you decline.
5. Retention and Deletion
- Locally Stored Data
Deleted from your device when you uninstall the App. No separate retention period.
- Data Collected and Processed Through Google
Retention period and deletion methods follow Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Your Rights
- Since the App does not use account-based services, you can delete local data by uninstalling the App.
- You can adjust ad personalization and advertising ID restrictions in Settings > Google > Ads on your device.
7. Children's Privacy
TapRest does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take steps to delete such information.
8. Policy Changes
This Privacy Policy may be amended in accordance with laws, policies, or service changes. When changes are made, we will notify you of material changes through in-app notices or store update descriptions. The updated policy takes effect from the date of publication.
